EANA History

The Esperanza Area of Narcotics Anonymous (EANA) was formed in October of 1986 from the Central Texas Area. EANA is geographically located in south central Texas including the cities of Crystal City, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Floresville, Laredo, Pleasanton, Poteet, San Antonio, Uvalde and surrounding counties. We are a group of people who join together to help each other with their drug problem. To get more information on what NA can offer, please visit the Narcotics Anonymous World Service webpage. You can also write EANA at the address listed on our contact us page for more information. This website is maintained by the EANA Internet Technology Subcommittee. If you have found this webpage and think you have a drug problem, please go to the Meeting Schedule page and find a meeting close to you and come visit us. Remember that there is hope that any addict can lose the obsession to use drugs and become a productive member of society. This website has some useful information on activities, meetings, and our newsletter and will be evolving over time, so please come back and check us out!

Step - Tradition - Concept

Fifth Step

We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

Fifth Tradition

Each group has but one primary purpose - to carry the message to the addict who still suffers.

Fifth Concept

For each responsibility assigned to the service structure, a single point of decision and accountability should be clearly defined.
